Holistic Therapies

Most of us are aware to the term “Holistic” as a result of rising recognition and the necessity for good health. Holistic means the three aspects of the self – mind, body and spirit. It comes from the word “whole” which means Complete. It’s a method of taking an all round strategy to treat illnesses or imbalances and choosing to guide a more balanced lifestyle. Holistic healing (or more popularly referred to as various drugs, Complementary medication or Integrative drugs) isn’t an ‘alternative’ to medical care. These therapies are offered as options to traditional medical treatments. Seeking help from a medical professional should by no means be ignored. But what we fail to understand is that physical illnesses are the symptoms of a greater imbalance which may have a root cause in our ideas & emotions. Continue reading
